KESAR PEDA is very yummy !Soft and tender Saffron pedas are very delicious and healthy !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. KHOYA- 250 grams
  2. Sugar-150 grams
  3. Green Cardamom Powder- 1 tsp
  4. Saffron- 6 Strands
  5. Pistachio Slices - 4 Tbsps

Instructions

  1. KESAR PEDA ! BY RAMANI THIAGARAJAN !
  2. Arrange Khoya,Sugar,Green Cardamom Powder and Saffron soaked in warm water !
  3. Arrange Khoya,Sugar,Green Cardamom Powder and Saffron soaked in warm water !
  4. In a saucepan add Saffron soaked and 250 grams Khoya !
  5. Add Green Cardamom Powder !
  6. Mix well !
  7. Mix well !
  8. Roast Khoya well first on high flame !
  9. Then roast on low flame !
  10. Roast for a while ! Roasted Khoya would taste yummy and can be stored for many days !
  11. Let the roasted Khoya cool down !
  12. Add 125 grams Sugar to the slightly warm roasted Khoya !
  13. Mix Well !
  14. Make Kesar PEDA ! Roll the mixture and flatten gently,Keep Pistachio slices on the top and press !
  15. Yummy KESAR PEDA !
  16. KESAR PEDA !
