ABOUT Chicken Steak with Cheesy Mashed Potato RECIPE

Jazz up your christmas party dinner with this unbelievably delicious combination of juicy chicken steak and cheesy mashed potatoes. This recipe is very special to me because the marinade is completely my own idea and I have recieved a lot of appreciation and praises for how tasty the steak turned out to be.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For chicken steak-
  2. Chicken breast 3 pieces
  3. Soya sauce 2 teaspoons
  4. Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons
  5. Fish sauce 1 teaspoon
  6. Steak sauce 1 teaspoon
  7. English mustard 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  9. Vinegar 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Rosemary 1 teaspoon
  11. Oregano 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Thyme 1/4 teaspoon
  13. Basil 1/4 teaspoon
  14. Chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon
  15. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  16. Salt as per taste
  17. Minced garlic 2 teaspoons
  18. Butter 4 tablespoons
  19. For mashed potato -
  20. Medium sized potatoes 4
  21. Black pepper powder 2 teaspoons
  22. Milk 1 cup
  23. Salt as per taste
  24. Chopped spring onions 1/4 cup
  25. Butter 3 tablespoons
  26. Mozzarella cheese 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. TAKE 3 CHICKEN BREASTS, MAKE A FEW SHALLOW CUTS ON TOP
  2. TAKE 2 TSP MINCED GARLIC, ADD 1 TSP LEMON JUICE, 2 TSP SOYA SAUCE
  3. ADD 1 TSP PEPPER POWDER, SOME SALT
  4. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF STEAK SAUCE, & ROSEMARY, 1/4 TSP EACH OF DRIED OREGANO & THYME
  5. ADD 2 TSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, 1 TSP FISH SAUCE
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF ENGLISH MUSTARD, RED CHILLI FLAKES & VINEGAR, MIX WELL
  7. COAT THE CHICKEN BREASTS WITH THIS MARINADE, COVER & LET IT REST FOR 1.5 HOURS
  8. MELT 1 TBSP BUTTER IN A NONSTICK PAN
  9. PLACE THE MARINATED CHICKEN, COOK FOR 10 MINS ON MEDIUM HEAT
  10. FLIP & COOK FROM THE OTHER SIDE
  11. ADD 1 TBSP BUTTER, COOK FOR 10 MORE MINS
  12. ONCE DONE, TAKE OFF HEAT & SET ASIDE
  13. BOIL 4 MEDIUM SIZED CHOPPED POTATOES UNTIL SOFT
  14. MASH THE BOILED POTATOES
  15. ADD 2 TSP PEPPER POWDER, SALT TO TASTE
  16. ADD 1/4 CUP CHOPPED SPRING ONION GREENS, 1 CUP MILK, MIX WELL
  17. MELT 3 TBSP BUTTER IN A NONSTICK PAN, POUR IN THE POTATO MIXTURE
  18. MIX & COOK FOR 5 MINS
  19. ADD 3 TBSP MOZZARELLA CHEESE, ALLOW IT TO MELT
  20. THE MASHED POTATOES ARE READY, TAKE OFF HEAT
  21. SERVE THE READY STEAKS & THE MASHED POTATOES TOGETHER
