ABOUT Cauliflower and peas masala RECIPE

Good option for winters when u get good quality cauliflower and peas.Anytime favourite gravy that can be cooked with any vegetables and flavoured with lemon or kasuri methi or any other herbs of your choice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 1/2 cup cauliflower pieces.
  2. 1 cup Fresh Peas
  3. 2 tbsp Oil
  4. 2 tbsp ghee
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1/4 tsp asafotieda
  9. 1- 2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  11. 1 large onion
  12. 2 medium tomatoes
  13. 10-12 cashews
  14. 8-10 almonds
  15. 2 cloves
  16. 1 CINAMON STICK
  17. 1 green chilli
  18. 1/2 inch ginger
  19. 8-10 garlic pieces
  20. For garnishing
  21. Chopped Coriander
  22. Grated fresh coconut

Instructions

  1. IN A VESSEL BOIL CAULIFLOWER PIECES AND PEAS FOR 5 MINUTES.DRAIN THE WATER AND KEEP ASIDE.
  2. IN A PAN HEAT 2 TBSP GHEE ,ADD CLOVES,CINAMON,GINGER AND GARLIC 1 GREEN CHILLI.
  3. ADD CASHEWS AND ALMONDS AND STIR WELL.
  4. ADD TOMATOES AND ONIONS.
  5. FRY FOR 2 MINUTES.
  6. TRANSFER THE MIXTURE INTO MIXIE JAR.
  7. ADD LITTLE WATER AND MAKE A COARSE PASTE FOR THE GRAVY.
  8. IN THE SAME KADHAI HEAT 2TBSP OF GHEE AND 2 TBSP OF OIL.A DD MUSTARD SEEDS,CUMIN SEEDS,TURMERIC.
  9. ADD ASAFOTEIDA,RED CHILLI POWDER,CORIANDER POWDER.S TIRR WELL.
  10. ADD THE GROUND PASTE AND STIR WELL.
  11. ADD ENOUGH WATER .
  12. LET IT COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.THEN ADD BOILED CAULIFLOWER AND PEAS. ADD SALT.
  13. STIR IT WELL.
  14. LET IT COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.TRANSFER IN SERVING BOWL.
  15. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER AND FRESH COCONUT.
  16. SERVE .
