  1. Beetroot finely grated 1 cup
  2. Cashew pieces 1/4 cup
  3. Ghee 1 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  5. Urad dal 1 tsp
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. Badam powder 3 tsp
  8. Tamarind syrup 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Turmeric powder a pinch
  11. Red chilli powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TSP OF GHEE
  2. SAUTE AND FRY TILL SPLUTTER MUSTARD SEEDS AND URAD DAL EACH 1 TSP
  3. ADD FEW CURRY LEAVES AND CASHEWS 1/4 CUP
  4. FRY CHOPPED ONION 1 TILL TRANSULANT
  5. A PINCH OF TURMERIC POWDER AND SALT TO TASTE
  6. RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
  7. FINELY GRATED BEETROOT 1 CUP
  8. TAMARIND SYRUP 1 TSP
  9. BADAM POWDER 3 TSP
  10. SAUTE AND FRY TILL TENDER IN LOW FLAME, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND SERVE
