Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice 3 cups
  2. for tempering mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  3. panch phoran 1/2 tsp
  4. zeera 1/2 tsp
  5. red chilli 2
  6. green chilli 2
  7. coriander leaves chopped 2 tsp
  8. mustard oil 1 tablespoon
  9. yoghurt 1 and 1/2 cup
  10. salt as per taste
  11. curry leaves

Instructions

  1. boil sufficient water in a big pan
  2. add washed rice and cook it till rice are well cooked
  3. then remove excess water leaving around 1 cup water still in the rice
  4. now add cold water and cool it completely
  5. now add yogurt,salt and coriander leaves
  6. for the tempering take a pan..add oil
  7. add mustard seeds,zeera,panch phoran,green chilli and red chilli and curry leaves and make them crackle
  8. add this tempering to the rice water..
  9. serve
