My mom's special.. excellent remedy for cold n cough even otherwise.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton liver 500 grams
  2. Pepper corns 5 tsp
  3. Garlic 12 cloves
  4. Turmeric a pinch
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Coconut oil 1-2 tbsp
  7. Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  8. Cumin seeds 1 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take mutton liver and wash it nicely..drain it well so there is no extra water.
  2. Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin and pepper corns seeds..pulse them well until is it in powder form.
  3. Now add the water n grind it to make a paste
  4. Add garlic cloves n pulse it for 5 secs. Taste will change if it is crushed too much .
  5. Now take a skillet . preferably cast iron. Add mutton liver, grounded masala, turmeric and water (just enough to cover the mutton liver).
  6. Let go off the water completely..it mite take some time for this step. Once it's dry,add the salt and coconut oil.. stir fry for 5 minutes .
  7. Cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes and you are ready to serve.
  8. You may add curry leaves for taste.we usually don't add any leaves.
