ABOUT Soya chunks carrot pulav RECIPE

This recipe is one of my favourite recipe which my mother taught me.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 11/2 cup rice
  2. 1/2 cup soya chunks
  3. 2 carrots (greeted)
  4. 2 onions (juliet cut)
  5. 1/4 cup green peas
  6. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 2 tomatoes (small pieces)
  8. Khada masala (1 clove, 1 small piece cinnamon,1 bay leaf,1 tsp cumin)
  9. 1 tsp red chilli
  10. 1/2 tsp biryani masala
  11. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Coriander leaves
  14. Oil (as needed)
  15. 3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add Soya chunks in boiled water(switch off the gas), keep it for 10 min. Then wash soya chunks and cut it into small pieces. Add 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan, add soya chunks , red chilli, garam masala, biryani masala and salt, mix it well. Cook it for 2 min in low flame.( These dry masala are not include in ingredients)
  2. For pulao ke heat oil, add khada masala and onions. Cook It for 1 min,add ginger garlic paste, cook it till it turns in golden brown in colour then add carrots, tomatoes, peas and dry masala and mix it well, add rice and water.
  3. When rice are completely cooked add soya chunks and mix it well. Cover it with lid and keep it aside for 10 min. Then add coriander leaves and serve.
