Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups Jowari aata
  2. 2 1/2 cups Hot Water for kneading (adjust water as needed )
  3. Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take jowari aata in a bowl, Add salt if you want to.
  2. Knead to make it into a soft dough. Leave it aside for some time.
  3. Take a pinch of lemon size of the dough kneaded. Sprinkle generous amount of flour on the kitchen platform.
  4. Pat the dough using your hands in circular motion to give a round shape of roti.
  5. Pat lightly as the dough is soft. Give it a round shape.
  6. Lift the jowari roti using a flat spatula as it may break if you try to lift with your hands.
  7. Prepare it like you prepare roti on a hot tava. Once your jowari roti is prepared apply butter or ghee and serve hot.
