Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken – 250 grams chopped into small pieces (with bone or boneless as you wish)
  2. Curry leaves a sprig
  3. Onion – 1 small sliced thinly
  4. Tomatoes – 1 sliced thinly
  5. Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander Powder / Malli Podi – 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
  11. Water – 3 cups
  12. Coriander Leaves – 2 tblspn finely chopped
  13. For grinding:
  14. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  15. Fennel Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  16. Whole Pepper – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Grind the ingredients given for grinding to a coarse mix. Set aside.
  2. Now in a pressure cooker add all the ingredients except coriander leaves and cover it.  
  3. Pressure cook it for 4 whistle, simmer the pan for 10 mins, turn off the heat and let the steam go all by itself.
  4. Now open the cooker and add in coriander leaves. Mix well. Serve.
