ABOUT Masaledaar potatoes RECIPE

This is one of my son,s favourite tiffin recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled potatoes 5 -6 nos medium size
  2. Oil 2 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Chopped Tomatoes 2 small
  5. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Asafoetida( hing) a pinch
  7. Green chilli 2 small chopped
  8. Dry kasuri methi 1,/4tsp
  9. Dry mint leaves 1/4tsp
  10. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1/4 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Firstly peel the boiled potatoes nd dice them
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add hing, cumin seeds. After 1 min add ginger garlic paste . Saute for 2mins on medium flame
  3. When paste becomes nice nd Brown add chopped tomatoes cook for 2-3mins . Add all ingredients one by one(except kasuri methi nd dry mint leaves)
  4. Keep d flame in low medium, add diced potatoes. Mix well with masala. Add 2-3tbsp water so dat masala is properly coated on potatoes
  5. After 2-3 mins add crushed kasuri methi nd mint leaves . Cover it with lid so dat nice aroma comes out. Turn off gas after 1 min
  6. Serve with paranthas
