A mughlai delicacy, chicken marinated in spices, grilled and then cooked in a spicy gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken boneless 250grams
  2. For marination:
  3. Ginger _garlic paste 1tea spoon
  4. Red chilly powder 1tea spoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Lemon juice1tea spoon
  7. For gravy:
  8. Onion paste 2table spoon
  9. Tomato puree4table spoon
  10. Ginger garlic paste 2table spoon
  11. Garam masala powder 1table spoon
  12. Red chilly powder 1tea spoon
  13. Turmeric powder 1/2tea spoon
  14. Coriander powder2tea spoon
  15. Oil150ml/ 1/2 cup
  16. Cream 2table spoon.

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken into ingredients mentioned above.keep in fridge for 15minutes.
  2. Put into skewers.arrange on a tawa or fry pan.
  3. Cover with a lid and cook on medium to low flame for 10 minutes
  4. Put the skewers on open flame for 1minute using awire rack.
  5. Take out of tikkas from skewers,keep aside.
  6. Prepration of gravy:
  7. Heat oil in a pan.put red chilly powder and stir.
  8. Add immediatelt ginger garlic paste sothat chilly powder shpuld not burn.
  9. Add alittle water and cook slowly.
  10. After 2minutes add allthe spices mentioned and tomato puree.
  11. Cook till oil leaves the edges of vessel.
  12. Add salt and alittle water to adjust the gravy.
  13. Put tikkas in the gravy.mix
  14. Pour cream and mix gently.
  15. Cover and leave for 5 minutes on low flame.serve with naan
