ABOUT Elaichi Lassi (cardamom lassi) RECIPE

Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink from the Indian Subcontinent.Traditional Cardamom Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, sugar, cardamom and sometimes dryfruits.It is an authentic refreshing drink from Punjab.People there enjoy the drink both occasionally and in daily life.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups - plain whole-milk yogurt(1cup = 250ml)
  2. 4 tablespoon - sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon - ground cardamom
  4. 1/2 cup - water
  5. 1 cup - ice cubes
  6. For garnishing: 5 or 6 - Cashews and raisins

Instructions

  1. Put yogurt,ice cubes,water and ground cardamom into a blender 
  2. Add sugar to it.
  3. Blend it to the highest speed for 2-3minutes to be well combined.
  4. Divide lassi between glasses and garnish with cashews and raisins. Serve at once.
