Clean moong Dal in water, washed and soak for 4-5 hours
In boiled it in pressure cooker
Take a pan.,
Then add ginger, garlic paste
Onion chopped and tomato ,and cooked till they are pulpy
Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder .
Add Garam masala powder and mix well
Pour the hot tempering in the pressure cooker
Now in another tadka pan heat 1/2 tsp ghee add cumin seeds, red chilly ,Asafoetida ,allow the cumin seeds to pop and switch off the heat add this hot tadka over the hot daal.
Mix it well and serve it in a big bowl.
Garnish with coriander leaves
