Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For fried chicken:Boneless chicken cut into cubes 500grams
  2. Egg 1 (optional)
  3. Cornflour 1/2 cup
  4. All propose flour 1/2 cup
  5. Black pepper 1tsp.
  6. Soy sauce 1tblsp.
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil for frying
  9. For sauce:
  10. Oil 2 tblsp.
  11. garlic finely chopped 3 cloves
  12. soy sauce 1 tblsp.
  13. Chilli sauce 2tsp.
  14. Onion 2 finely chopped
  15. Spring onion green 1/2 cup finely chopped
  16. Green chilli 2 finely chopped
  17. Water 1/2 cup
  18. Corn starch 2tblsp.
  19. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with soya sauce, some salt & black pepper powder. Set aside until you prepare the rest. At least for 30 minutes.
  2. On marinated chicken sprinkle corn flour, plain flour on the meat along with salt and mix well add chili powder. If you wish to use egg, you can add it now. Mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till it is done. Keep stirring to fry evenly. Do not over fry, it tends to turn hard
  4. Prepare the sauce .Add soya sauce, chili sauce, vinegar and ½ tsp salt bowl and mix well.
  5. In a pan take oil and add garlic fry for about a min, add onions, spring onions, and green chilies and fry till they turn slightly soft not cooked for about a minute or so.
  6. Pour the sauce that was prepared. Let the sauces bubble up well. To make chilli chicken gravy, 
  7. Add the fried chicken, Mix well. If it looks dry, sprinkle little water. Saute on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with some spring onions and serve hot.
