ABOUT CHICKEN CHAPLI KEBAB RECIPE

KEBAB a very popular Middle Eastern dish usually made out of grilled meat and veggies seasoned with various spices and flavours. But these delicacies have spread around the world and are made in different flavours in many Eurpoean and American countries. Kebabs are generally pieces of marinated meat or seafood skewered along with veggies and grilled. 'Chapali Kebabs' are named so because they are flat pattie-like, minced meat kebabs; unlike the regular skewered ones. Easy to prepare and make.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 500 grams chicken mince
  2. 2 medium onion, finely chopped
  3. 2 medium tomatoes, finely chop after deseeding
  4. 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  5. 3-4 green chillies, finely chopped
  6. 1 tablespoon hung curd
  7. 4 tablespoon gram flour, roasted
  8. 1 teaspoon dry pomogranate seeds
  9. 1 large egg
  10. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  11. 1 teaspoon coarsely ground coriander seeds
  12. 1 teaspoon garam masala powser
  13. 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  14. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  15. 1 teaspoon chat masala
  16. 4 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander
  17. Oil for shallow Frying the kebabs

Instructions

  1. Take all the ingredients, except oil in a food processor jar.
  2. Blend it for one minute
  3. Refrigerate this mixture for 30 minutes
  4. After 30 minutes, make desired shape kebabs from this mixture . Keep them refrigerated , else tomatoes & onion would make this mixture watery
  5. Heat 4 tablespoon oil in a nonstick pan & start frying these kebabs. Let these cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until they turn brown.
  6. Serve hit with mint coriander chutney or tomato ketchup
  7. These kebabs make lovely burger/sliders too
