Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Citron - 1
  2. Sesame oil- 2 tsps
  3. Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
  4. Urad dal- 1 tsp
  5. Chana dal- 1 tsp
  6. Green chillies - 2 chopped finely
  7. Ginger- little chopped finely
  8. Peanuts- a few
  9. Curry leaves- garnishing
  10. Cooked rice- 1 cup
  11. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  12. Salt- to taste
  13. Hing powder- a little

Instructions

  1. Take a kadayi
  2. Add sesame oil
  3. Tadka with mustard seeds, urad dal, Channa dal, green chillies , ginger and curry leaves
  4. Roast peanuts and keep aside
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt, hing powder,
  6. Add cooked rice and mix well
  7. Once its cooked squeeze citron juice to the rice when cooled
  8. Mix well and serve with chips and lemon pickle
