A homemade version of salami that is way cheaper than the market ones. The best part is you know the ingredients and its fresh and made without preservatives. Chicken salami is a mouthwatering and delicious recipe of chicken along with mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. It is a type of restored chicken sausage consisting of fermented chicken. Chicken Salami recipe is popular in Southern and Central Europe because it is possible to store it at the room temperature for up to 40 days. Salami is an adjunct to the regular supply of fresh meat. Countries and regions across Europe make their own traditional varieties of salami. Chicken salami can be used in salads, rolls, pizzas and sandwiches. You can try this with different spice flavors. It is a very quick and easy to make Chicken salami at home. Take a jar and add washed chicken, chili flakes, oregano, salt, ginger, garlic and mixed herbs and blend them. Take a big piece of aluminium foil and fold it double. Shape the chicken mince in the form of a log and wrap it tightly in the aluminium foil ensuring that all ends are sealed air tight. Boil the water in a large pot and add the chicken salami in the boiling water for about 10-15 minutes. Let it cool completely and bring it to the room temperature. Slice it into rounds of desired thickness. Use this Chicken salami the way you want it in sandwiches or make roll in the chapati with mint chutney, lemon juice and onions. Try to put Chicken salami in a zip lock pouch and refrigerate to cut in slice later
I put inadequate salt and spices because I felt it was becoming too much. I used boneless breast pieces. Followed the recipe diligently. Unfortunately, the salami came out crumbly :-(
