When on a vacation in Kerela, fish is probably the first dish i would eat. This dish is a delectable famous fish curry from Kerela which is enjoyed with steamed rice.

Mix salt and 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder. Rub well on fish pieces. Leave aside for 30-60 mins
Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until half done.Drain excess oil on paper towels and set aside.
Heat oil in another pan and saute the onions until tender. Add the flour, chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric, and curry leaves
Add the thin coconut milk, ginger, green chillies, vinegar, cloves, cinnamon and salt as needed.Cover with the lid and cook for 10-15 mins.
Now add the semi-fried fish. Add the thick coconut milk when it comes to a boil and mix well.
Remove from heat and transfer into a serving bowl
