Pressure cook the toor dal, carrot and potato,beans, cluster beans, broad beans for 10-15 min over medium flame and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, saute small onion, drumstick, tomato, garlic, brinjal for 5 min.
Add cooked dal and veg with water, mix well and cook for 5 min
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, tamarind water, salt and cook for 5 min.
Now the sambar is ready.
Heat oil in another pan, saute Mustard seeds, curry leaves for 2 mins and add it to the sambar.
SERVING: 2
