A yummy variation with tinday and mutton. Apple gourd gravy with mutton is a super delicious dish and can be had with both rice and rotis. Super recipe!
Wash and set aside the mutton.
Cut tinday into halves and apply half of all the masalas to it.
Set them aside for 15 minutes.
In a pressure cooker, heat oil and saute the onions until translucent.
Add the tomatoes and the other half of the masalas too.
Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Now add the mutton and stir fry for 2 minutes.
Add little water and pressure cook for 6 whistles.
Let the pressure settle down before opening the lid.
Add tinday now.
Cook until the next 10-12 minutes on a low heat keeping it covered with a lid.
Check for salt and adjust it accordingly.
Garnish with coriander and fried green chillies.
Also garnish with lemon wedges. That is purely optional.
Serve hot with rice or chapatis.
