This is a delicious recipe of appe made with bananas, to be served for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Ripen smashed banana - 3-4
  2. oil
  3. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Rice flour - 1 cup
  5. Jaggery - 1/2 cup
  6. Water - 1 cup
  7. ghee
  8. Small pieces of Coconut - 1tbs
  9. Ginger 1/4 tsp
  10. Jeera powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Melt the jaggery in low flame with water
  2. In another pan Fry pieces of Coconut with ghee
  3. Smash the banana or blend in and then add jeera powder cardamom powder.. Ginger
  4. Add the mix to jaggery solution.. Then add rice flour
  5. Now add coconut and mix well to smooth batter without any lumps
  6. Now heat the appi pan
  7. Spread some ghee or coconut oil to each mould
  8. Pour the batter in each mould
  9. Heat the pan at medium flame
  10. Turn over with spoon when one side becomes crisp and golden yellow
  11. Serve hot appa with coconut chutney
