ABOUT Papad Ki Churi RECIPE

Papad Ki Churi, roasted and crushed papads is tossed in ghee with onion, tomatoes, spices and served as accompaniment with dal and rice in restaurant. This is a typical Rajasthani (Marwari) dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Papad – 3 nos (roasted and crushed)
  2. Onion – 1 no, chopped
  3. Tomato – 1 no, chopped
  4. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  5. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  6. Ghee – 1 tsp
  7. Fresh Coriander – 2 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
  9. Bhujia / Sev – 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add onion, tomato, give a quick toss then add red chilli powder, salt mix well, add crushed papads and mix well. Turn off the heat.
  2. Transfer to a bowl, add lemon juice and coriander. Mix well and serve with bhujia / sev.
