ABOUT Banana Halwa RECIPE

Everybody prepares banana halwa. But here i did it using jaggery in an oven.Healthy halwa.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Banana(pach banana)...8
  2. Jaggery powder......1/2 kg
  3. Ghee....1/4 cup
  4. Cardamom powder...3 pinchs
  5. Dry fruits (Cashew,pista & Almond)
  6. Water ....1/4 cup.

Instructions

  1. Prepare jaggery syrup using jaggery and water.(5_10mins in oven).
  2. Grind bananas in a mixi without using water. Now add these in a microwave safe glass bowl and cook 20 minutes in micro mode.
  3. During this interval,mix the banana paste every 5 minutes in an oven.
  4. Add jaggery syrup & ghee into it and mix well
  5. Now cook again 20_25 minutes in an oven.During this interval, mix every 5 minutes in an oven.
  6. Add cardamom powder in the end cook for 5 minutes in micro mode.
  7. Transfer halwa into a ghee greased plate.Drop some fried dry fruits on it and press them.
  8. Line halwa into your desired shape after 5 minutes using knife.
