ABOUT Cauliflower Masala Puri RECIPE

In this recipe I have used wheat flour, cauliflower puree and crushed cumin, carom seeds. These puris tastes awesome and goes well with any curry or even hot tea.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat Flour – 1 ½ cup
  2. Cauliflower Puree – ¾-1 cup
  3. Crushed Jeera – ½ tsp
  4. Crushed Carom seeds – ½ tsp
  5. Green Chilli coarsely ground - 1
  6. Thick curd – 1tbsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil – 1tbsp + 2cups for frying
  9. Water only if required.

Instructions

  1. Wash, blanch and blend cauliflower florets into a smooth puree.
  2. In a bowl take wheat flour, salt, oil, crushed cumin seeds, carom seeds, green chili paste, curd. Mix well.
  3. Add cauliflower puree slowly at a time and knead it into a stiff dough.
  4. Cover and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
  5. In a wok, heat oil. Take a small portion of dough and make a ball.
  6. Grease rolling board with oil. Place a ball and Roll evenly from all the sides. It should be little thick.
  7. Fry puri on medium-low flame until it gets golden brown color from both the sides
  8. Serve hot with Potato curry or bhaji or Chole.
