ABOUT Tawa Chicken Kheema RECIPE

A yummy side dish that goes well with just about anything starting from rotis to rice. The best part is that it can be used as a filling for baida rotis, samosas, kachoris, sandwiches and patties. It gets done in practically no time at all and is therefore an added advantage for busy moms. Happy Stir Frying !!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken mince 400 gm
  2. Ginger mince 1 tsp
  3. Garlic mince 1 tsp
  4. Green chilli paste 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric 1/2 a tsp
  7. Oil 3 tbsp
  8. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  9. Ground cumin 1 tsp
  10. Cubeb powder (Tailed Pepper)
  11. Onions thinly sliced large 1
  12. Coriander leaves finely chopped 1/4th cup

Instructions

  1. In a kadai, heat oil and add the ginger garlic paste along with chilli paste.
  2. Saute all for a minute.
  3. Now saute thinly sliced onions until translucent.
  4. Add chicken mince now.
  5. Throw in rest of the spices too.
  6. Saute it on a medium high heat until the raw smell fades away.
  7. Keep stirring in between.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and adjust salt at this stage.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  10. Serve it with naans, parathas or fried rice.
  11. This can be used as a filling for samosas, patties and baida rotis too.
