ABOUT Dahi Idli RECIPE

Steamed idlis topped with yogurt.Dahi Idli is a healthy option in place of deep -fried Dahi vadas.It almost tastes like dahi vada but you miss all those deep fried calories.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rava Idlis 8No.
  2. Yogurt. 1 cup
  3. Sugar. 1Tsp
  4. Oil 1tsp
  5. Mustard seeds 1tsp
  6. Hing. A pinch
  7. Chana dal 1tsp
  8. Urad dal. 1Tsp
  9. Curry leaves. 8-10 leaves
  10. Salt as per taste.

Instructions

  1. Whisk the yogurt in a bowl ,add sugar and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Roast chana and urad dal ,until turns brown in color.
  4. Now add mustard seeds,hing and curry leaves.
  5. Add tempering to the curd .
  6. In a serving bowl place 4 idlies
  7. Pour tempered yogurt over each bowl.
  8. Sprinkle little salt.
  9. Serve immediately.
