Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2kg beetroots
  2. 2 red dried chilles
  3. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  4. Black pepper 7-8
  5. Black salt 1tsp
  6. Asafoetida 1 pinch
  7. Hung curd 1/2kg
  8. Regular salt according to your taste

Instructions

  1. Peel all beets and boil the pieces in a pan with 1 cup of water till they become tender.
  2. Let them cool down to the normal temperature.
  3. Dry roast the red chillies,cumin seeds n asafoetida on tava.
  4. Add beet and garlic cloves to it and blend into a smooth puree.
  5. Mix with hung curd and blend a little.
  6. Serve with khichdi or anything as a dip.enjoy eating.
