Healthy and delicious beet root wine

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Cleaned and grated beet root 2& 1/2kg
  2. Sugar 2kg
  3. Cloves 6/8pieces
  4. Ginger 1big piece
  5. Lemon juice 4limes
  6. Yeast 1tsp
  7. Water 5 litres

Instructions

  1. Boil the beetroot along with ginger and cloves in water
  2. Simmer and boil for 15 min
  3. Strain and let it cool
  4. Add sugar and yeast to a cup of lukewarm beet root water mix
  5. Rest for 10 mins allow it to rise
  6. Mix it with the strained and cooled beet juice
  7. Finally add the lemon juice
  8. Bottle it and keep for 14/15 days airtight
  9. Strain it again and use
