It is my most favourite breakfast. I really loved it when it is made by my mom. It gives benefits of methi rich in iron. Its green colour make it different from other. Green colour comes after methi is crushing. .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maize flour 1 cup
  2. Methi 1 cup chopped
  3. Ginger 1 teaspoon
  4. Green chillies 2 chopped
  5. Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
  6. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  7. Ghee 2 tablespoon for kneading dough
  8. Water for making dough
  9. Refined oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Put the ginger and green chillies into crusher and crush with hands. After this put the chopped methi into traditional crusher and crush it with hands.
  2. Now crush methi till it becomes a paste and leaves green colour.
  3. Now add flour, ghee, salt cumin seeds and crushed methi paste. With the help of water make dough.
  4. Now heat a tawa and make a chapati preferably with hand or with roller pin and place it on tawa.
  5. Cook it from both sides . If wants apply oil. Your green makki roti is ready.
  6. Serve it with curd.
