Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 lauki
  2. sugar 1/2 cup
  3. ilaichi powder 1/2 teaspoon
  4. green colour 1 drop (optional)
  5. dessicated coconut 1 cup
  6. magaz dana 1 tablespoon
  7. almonds

Instructions

  1. take a lauki..peel n grate it leaving the soft n the seed part..
  2. put it in a strainer to drain out excess water from it..do not squeeze
  3. now in a non stck pan put this grated lauki and cover n cook in medium flame..it has enough water of its own which will help it cook properly..
  4. when after 10 mins almost the lauki is cooked and the water evaporates then add sugar...
  5. after adding sugar more water will come out...cook again for 5 mins or water absorbes...
  6. don't dry completely...add a pinch of green colour and ilaichi powder..turn off the gas
  7. now add dessicated coconut to the lauki and the magaz daana..
  8. let it cool and make laddoo with your hands and roll it on dessicated coconut
  9. garnish with almonds
