Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Urad daal 1 cup
  2. Rice 3 cup
  3. Oil for greasing
  4. 1cup tuar daal
  5. Mix veg( 1/2 cup bottle gourd,brinjal,pumpkin,)
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Sambhar masala 1 tsp
  8. Tamarind chutney 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak daal and rice
  2. Grind them to a paste
  3. Let it ferment for 6-8 hours
  4. Now grease the idli stand and pour batter in it with a spoon
  5. Close the lid and steam it for 15 minutes
  6. Pressure cook the daal with veges and turmeric powder
  7. Temper it with little oil crackle musturd seeds and Curry leaves add tamarind paste in it
  8. Add it to daal and add sambhar masala
  9. Enjoy idli sambhar
