ABOUT Sattu kachori RECIPE

A filling recipe of snacks, filled with roasted gram or sattu.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida- 2 cup
  2. Ghee- 2 tbsp
  3. Oil for frying
  4. Carom seeds
  5. Salt to taste
  6. For Filling
  7. Sattu- 4 tbsp
  8. Red chill powder- 1/2 tsp
  9. Ginger garlic- 1 tsp
  10. Green chilly paste- 1 tsp
  11. Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  12. Carom seeds- little pinch
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix maida with salt, ghee, carom seeds with the help of water to make a stiff dough
  2. . Make the stuffing by mixing all the fillings with the help of water
  3. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  4. Stuff the fillings in the dough and roll the balls.
  5. Sprinkle a little flour and roll them with rolling pin to approx 2.5 diameter.
  6. In a pan heat the oil and place the kachori one by one.
  7. Lower the heat and fry till little brown.
  8. Drain in paper.napkin
  9. Serve hot
