ABOUT Special dal fry RECIPE

A tasty dal fry which goes well with some plain rice and popadum on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Toovar dal (arhar) 1 cup
  2. Chopped tomato 1
  3. Chopped onion 1
  4. Chopped coriander leaves
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. Chopped Green chilly 1
  7. Chopped garlic 1
  8. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  9. Ghee 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the toovar Dal in the cooker for only 2-3 whistle.
  2. Melt the ghee in a pan and fry the chopped onion,tomato,garlic ,green chilly mix well for around 5 minutes.
  3. Now add the boiled Dal and add water for another 3-5 minutes on a low flame .
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves .
