Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Chicken - 1 Kg
  2. Green Garlic Paste (Hare Lasoon Ka Paste) - 4 Table Spoon
  3. Coarsely Grinded Ginger Paste (Dardara Kuta Adrak) - 1 Table Spoon
  4. Green Peas (Hare Mattar) - 1 Cup
  5. Finely Sliced Onions (Kati Pyaz) - 1 Cup
  6. Finely Chopped Tomatoes (Barik Kata Tamator) - 1 Cup
  7. Finely Chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Barik Kati Methi0 - 1 Cup
  8. Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Kati Hari Mirch) - 6 to 8 Red
  9. Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder) - 1 Table Spoon
  10. Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder) - 1 Tea Spoon
  11. Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder) - 1 Table Spoon
  12. Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder) - 1 Tea Spoon
  13. Cumin Seeds (Shahi Jeera) - 1 Tea Spoon
  14. Cloves (Laung) - 3 to 4
  15. Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) - 3 to 4
  16. Cinnamon (Dal Chini) - ½ peace
  17. Finely Chopped Green Coriander (Barik Kata Hara Dhaniya) - 1 Bunch
  18. Oil - As per your requirement
  19. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in non - stick pan or kadai. Once the oil is hot add finely chopped onions and cook till they become light brown
  2. Add coarsely grinder ginger paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add fine paste of green garlic and cook till oil get separated from it
  4. Add finely chopped fenugreek leave and mix well. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or till they become soft or oil get separated
  5. At this stage add finely chopped tomatoes and green chillies. Mix all the ingredients, cook till tomatoes become soft and oil getting separated from them
  6. Now add all dry masalas like red chilli, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder. Add salt according to taste. Mix all the masalas and cook till oil get separated from it
  7. Add chicken, ensure the flame of the gas is on high. This will help the chicken to release it juice. Cover and cook it till it become soft
  8. Add green peas and half cup of water. Mix well, cover and cook on low to medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Finally add finely chopped green coriander and whole spices like cumin seeds, clove, black pepper, green cardamom and cinnamon. Mix all and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. Now the dish is ready which can be served with and Indian bread or Flavored Rice
