For dal: Pressure cook the dal with 2 whistles and on slow flame for 5 mins.
For tempering : heat oil in a pan add jeera till it crackles then add chopped onion n tomato and cook them properly. Add hing and other dry masalas.
Add the cooked dal to the pan add some water and salt to taste cook on slow flame.
While serving first put the dal then methi chutney, green chutney chopped onions and chopped coriander leaves.
For pakvan: Mix all ingredients Knead a dough like paratha using water. Keep aside for 10 minuets. Roll thin poories and prick the puris with knife or fork.
Deep fry in hot oil on medium heat Light golden fry kare till it's crispy!

1 cup chana dal soaked for 30 mins in warm water
1 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp hing
1/4 tsp Jeera
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp dhaniya-jeera powder
1 medium size onion chopped
1 TOMATO CHOPPED
Salt to taste
For extra flavouring:
Mithi chutney
Green spicy chutney
Chopped Onions
Chopped coriander leaves
Add the flavouring according to your choice/taste
For Pakvan:
1 cup maida
1 cup gehun ka atta
1/2 tsp ajwain seeds
1/4 tsp jeera powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil or ghee
