Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Raw rice 1 cup
  2. Poha 3 tsp
  3. Urad dal 1/2 cup
  4. Salt as required
  5. cooking soda 1/2 Tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak dal and raw rice separately for 5-6 hrs
  2. Grind separately using little amount of water and poha.
  3. Mix both batter.cover and let the batter ferment for 10 hours .after fermentation process is over, the idli batter will become double in size and rise.now it's ready to use.
  4. Grease oil on the idli plates and pour batter.wait for 10-15 min.soft spongy idli is ready
