ABOUT Coriander Mint Green Chutney.... RECIPE

A simple green chutney that is made with both coriander and mint leaves along with some freshly squeezed lemon juice. A perfect accompaniment to various breakfast options and chaats as well. Works amazing as a delectanle spread on your favourite sandwiches too. Easy to make and store also. However i recommend you to make it in smaller quantities like i did and make it afresh whenever required. It hardly takes much of our time. Happy Blending !!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Coriander leaves chopped 2 cups
  2. Mint leaves 1 cup
  3. Green chillies 2
  4. Salt 1 tsp
  5. Garlic cloves 2
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  7. Asafoetida 1/8th tsp
  8. Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast cumin seeds, garlic cloves and asafoetida for a minute.
  2. Add this to a blender along with all the other ingredients.
  3. Blend on high to a smooth semi thick liquid.
  4. Add some water too.
  5. Do not add much and do not make it watery.
  6. Serve this with your favourite breakfast.
  7. This can be stored in the refrigerator for almost a week.
