Using my secret ingredient of making this kheer with jaamun ghutli is as unique as lemon chillie ice cream, this dessert u might have not heard of it, must try

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Jaamun seeds (few seeds only)
  2. Milk 1 ltr
  3. Condensed milk (milkmaid/mithai mate) 1/2 tin means 200gm
  4. Khanda rice 1/4 cup
  5. Whipped cream 3 tablespoon
  6. Green elachi powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Almonds chopped for decorating/garnishing

Instructions

  1. Soak jaamun seeds overnight
  2. Drain that water next day
  3. Puree the seeds of jaamun using mixer grinder
  4. Seive,Strain and keep aside
  5. Boil milk add rice to it and cook on sim flame
  6. At the same time add seived puree of jamun seeds
  7. Mix well
  8. Cook till the milk reduces to half
  9. Now add condensed milk, elachi powder and again cook for sometime on sim flame or till the rice is cooked inside and the kheer is thickened
  10. Off the gas,cool well
  11. Lastly add whipped cream,mix well,garnish/decorate with chopped almonds and serve well
  12. No need to add sugar,milkmaid is enough for this sweet condensed kheer
