ABOUT Home made crab bread. RECIPE

This is a basic bread recipe using electric beater the dough is kneaded. To attract all the dough is shaped like a crab.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour 250 grams
  2. Instant yeast 5 gms
  3. Milk 130ml
  4. Sugar 35 grams
  5. Butter 45 grams
  6. Egg yolk 3 tablespoon
  7. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Egg yolk and little milk for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Add flour, salt, sugar and yeast together and mix well.
  2. Add milk and egg and knead in electric beater.
  3. After 5 minutes add butter and knead well for 15mts minutes.
  4. Rest the dough for 2 hours covering kitchen towel. Let it proof.
  5. After two hours. Punch and deflate air from the dough.
  6. Then roll the dough and cut into triangle pieces and roll n pinch the end of the dough to look like a crab.
  7. Give a egg wash on the dough. Let it rest for second proofing.
  8. Preheat oven 17 0 degree centigrade.
  9. Bake the dough for 17 to 20 minutes.
  10. Home made Crab bread is ready to to consume for all (toddler's, mother to be and elderly people). Can have with hot coffee, jam, butter etc.
