ABOUT Homemade Kadha RECIPE

A home remedy recipe for all the age groups, this Kadha is good for cold, cough and fever.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cinnamon 1 1/2 inch sticks
  2. Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
  3. Peppercorns -1 tsp
  4. Cloves 3-4
  5. Ginger 1-inch piece, peeled and pounded
  6. Basil/ Tulsi Leaves 5-6
  7. Honey to taste
  8. Water - 500 ml or 2 cups

Instructions

  1. PUT 2 CUPS OF WATER TO BOIL, ADD 3 CLOVES
  2. ADD 1 TBSP FENNEL SEEDS, 1.5 INCH CINNAMON, 1 TSP PEPPERCORNS
  3. ADD 1 INCH PIECE GINGER, PEELED & POUNDED, 5-6 BASIL LEAVES
  4. REDUCE HEAT, COOK FOR 5-7 MINS
  5. STRAIN, POUR IN CUPS
  6. COOL A LITTLE, ADD HONEY TO TASTE
