ABOUT Gajar ka halwa RECIPE

This is a perfect dessert for winters, made with carrots and liked by people of all ages.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Gajar 1 kg
  2. Milk litre
  3. Sugar 200 gramms
  4. Desi ghee 1 table spoon
  5. Dry fruits chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scrape, wash and grate all the gajar (carrots)
  2. Heat a pan, put ghee and add grated carrots, cover it and cook for 10 minutes. Now add sugar and cook till all the moisture dries. Switch off the gas
  3. In another pan boil milk and let it reduce to 1/4 th the Quantity. Now mix this milk in the carrots mixture and cook till the halwa leaves the pan. Add all the dry fruits and serve hot
