ABOUT Dessert in Golden Castle RECIPE

Sweet Yellow Cardamom flavored Rice in Sugar Castle.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice - 1 cup
  2. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tbsp
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Raisins - 10 -12
  5. Dry Coconut - 1 inch
  6. Yellow food color- 1 pinch
  7. For Sugar Castle- 1 cup Sugar
  8. Water - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in an open pan adding cardamom powder, sugar and yellow color.
  2. Add double the water to the quantity of Rice.
  3. When cooked, keep aside by covering with a cotton cloth and add raisins on top.
  4. Now in a pan, add 2 cups of water and one cup of sugar.
  5. Let boil until it turns light golden and becomes consistent, now lower the flame and let it boil for one more min.
  6. Keep in mind that if it falls on skin, the skin will burn very badly so please take care while making this.
  7. In the mean time, take a steel service spoon and grease it with oil. Turn off flame.
  8. Using another service spoon take the sugar syrup and make a criss cross on the service spoon backside.
  9. It will cool down with in a minute and then it pull apart from the service spoon.
  10. Serve the rice in a dish plate by covering it with golden castle.
