ABOUT Masala Boondi Chaat.. RECIPE

An amazing chaat that is quite an easy one too. Gorgeous and delicious too. It is made instantly with readily available ingredients. It tastes so very heavenly with the crunchy boondi, the tanginess of lemon, the aroma of spices that blend really so well and thus is the final outcome in the form of this lovely looking chaat. Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boondi 3 cups
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Green chillies finely chopped 3
  4. Chaat masala 1 1/2 tbsp
  5. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped a handful
  7. Onions finely chopped 2
  8. Tomatoes finely chopped 2
  9. Cucumbers chopped 2
  10. Cumin powder roasted 1 tsp
  11. Coriander seeds roasted and crushed 1 tsp
  12. Butter 1 tbsp + oil 1 tsp
  13. Blackpepper powder 1 tsp
  14. Pomegranate seeds 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Get all the things ready and prepare this only when you are ready to eat.
  2. Do not delay in serving. Otherwise the boondi becomes soggy.
  3. In a pan, heat about a tablespoon of butter along with 1/2 a tsp of oil.
  4. Add the crushed coriander seeds.
  5. Saute it for a while.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, add this along with all the other ingredients one by one.
  7. Toss all that really well and garnish with pomegranate seeds and lots of chopped coriander leaves
  8. Serve it immediately with some fresh lemon juice squeezed on top.
  9. Sprinkle chaat masala generously and enjoy.
  10. Enjoy this beautiful looking chaat with hot or a cold beverage alongside.
