ABOUT Saffron Rice RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Bhasmathi rice
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Water 3 cup
  4. Ghee 3 tsp
  5. Saffron threads 15
  6. Milk 4 tsp
  7. Cashews halved 15
  8. Raisins 10
  9. Spicy masala ingredients.....
  10. Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  11. Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Cinnamon stick 1/4 inch
  13. Clove 3 pods
  14. Cumin powder a pinch
  15. Coriander powder a pinch

Instructions

  1. Wash and drain the rice.
  2. Pressure cook 3 vessels adding water and salt.
  3. Add ghee and roast cashews in a pan.
  4. Add raisins and remaining masala items mix well.
  5. Add saffron milk.
  6. Bring it to boil.
  7. Now add cooled rice.
  8. Mix gently and serve in hot by decoratively.
