Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm minced mutton
  2. 50 gm urad dal
  3. 50 gm moong dal
  4. 50 gm masoor dal
  5. 50 gm chana dal
  6. 50 gm rice
  7. 4 onions chopped
  8. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  9. 4 green chilies, chopped
  10. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  11. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  12. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Fried onions 1 tbsp
  15. Coriander leaves 3 tbsp chopped
  16. 2 cloves
  17. 3 peppercorns

Instructions

  1. In a cooker, add onions, ginger garlic paste, minced mutton, red chili powder and garam masala, green chilies, turmeric powder and salt and 1/2 cup water. Cook till mutton is done
  2. Once steam is released, keep the water and cooked meat separately
  3. Cook the mixed dals and rice along with the meat water. Mix well. Cook till soft and mash it well
  4. Heat oil in pan. Add cooked meat and mix well
  5. Add the dal rice mixture and mix well. Add water if required. Cook on low flame for 20 min.
  6. Garnish with coriander and fried onions

Very similar to mutton biriyani.
