Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 1 kg chicken with bones
  2. 3 Onions, sliced
  3. 1 pod garlic
  4. 2 inches ginger
  5. 3 green chilies, chopped
  6. 7-8 cashews
  7. 2 tsp black pepper
  8. 2 tsp red chili powder
  9. 2 tsp salt
  10. 3 tsp oil
  11. 2 tsp dhania powder
  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  13. 1 Onion rings and 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves - for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2tsp oil in kadai
  2. Add garlic,sliced onions ,cashew and cumin seeds
  3. Saute for 4-5 minutes. Switch off. Allow to cool completely
  4. Blend the mixture to smooth paste
  5. In same pan, heat 1 tsp oil.Add chicken ,crushed ginger, green chilies,salt,red chili power, black pepper, dhania powder. Mix well
  6. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add ground paste and mix well
  7. Cover and cook until chicken is tender stirring occasionally
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves, onion rings and Serve warm
