ABOUT Methi Besan Gravy RECIPE

It is very healthy dish to be eaten with chapati.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Methi leaves 250 gm, chopped
  2. Besan (gram flour) 3 tbsp
  3. Curd 100 g
  4. Oil 2 tbsp
  5. Red chili powder 1-1.5 teaspoon
  6. Dhaniya powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  10. Hing - 1 pinch
  11. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add 2-3 teaspoons water to curd and whisk well
  2. Roast besan in a pan until pink in color. Keep it aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds, jeera and hing
  4. Add methi leaves and sprinkle little water. Mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add spice powders and mix well
  6. Add roasted besan and mix well.
  7. Add whisked curd, salt and mix well. Cook until curry is thick. Serve hot
