Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Capsicum - 2
  2. Potatoes boiled and mashed - 1 cup
  3. Green peas - 1 tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  6. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  8. Jeera seeds - 1/4 tsp
  9. Amchur powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Chopped green chilies - 2
  11. Chopped onion - 1
  12. Ginger, garlic paste - 1 tsp
  13. Salt - to taste
  14. Oil - 2 tbsp
  15. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Slice the top of the capsicum and remove all the seeds.
  2. Heat oil in a wok. Splutter cumin seeds
  3. Add onion and saute until light brown.
  4. Add ginger ,garlic paste,coriander powder,turmeric powder,red chili powder and add some water. Mix well
  5. Add green peas and saute for a minute.
  6. Add mashed potatoes,salt,amchur powder,green chilies and cook on medium flame for 3 - 4 mins
  7. Add garam masala , coriander leaves and mix well.
  8. Stuff the above filling in the Capsicum
  9. Heat the oil in a wok
  10. Add the stuffed capsicum and cover the wok, lower the heat and cook till the skin of the capsicum becomes light brown. Serve hot

Can I add chopped tomato to the masala?
