Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong Daal 2 cups
  2. Green chilies 5-6
  3. Ginger 1 inch
  4. Fresh coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  5. Sugar 1 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Edible soda 1/4 tsp
  8. Citric acid 1/4 tsp
  9. Curry leaves 6-7
  10. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  11. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  12. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak Moon Dal for 1 hour. Clean and drain excess water
  2. Grind moong dal, green chili, coriander leaves ,ginger, citric acid, sugar and salt to fine paste.
  3. Now add edible soda to the batter; and pour the batter in the greased idli plates.
  4. Steam the dhokla for 10-15 mins.
  5. Allow to cool for 5 min. De mould dhoklas
  6. In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds ;curry leaves, green chilies. Splutter muster seeds.
  7. Add seasoning to Dhoklas. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
