ABOUT Bajra Coconut Laddoo RECIPE

As winter is coming so bajra(pearl millet) and gud combination is very healthy...i add coconut i this recipe bcos some people may not like bajra taste ...so by adding coconut powder or grated coconut u can makes it more tasty.These laddoos are delicious as well as its nutritional value are also too good.....pearl millet n jaggery mixture is very benificial for health

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Bajra (pearl millet)flour 1.5 cups
  2. Gur (jaggery) 1 cup
  3. Grated coconut or coconut powder 1/2 cup
  4. Ghee 1/2 cup + 2tbsp
  5. Sugar 1/4 tsp
  6. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  7. Chopped nuts (almond, cashews etc) 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Melt half cup of ghee in a wok , roast bajra flour until it slightly changes color
  2. In a bowl, add roasted bajra flour, coconut, cardamom powder, salt, and nuts. Mix it well.
  3. Heat Jaggery bits in same wok on low flame till jaggery becomes tender
  4. Immediately add jaggery to flour mixture and mix thoroughly
  5. Smear ghee on palms and make laddoos. Enjoy!
